phi99 covers the sports Filipino fans care about most, plus a wide range of international events. Here's a breakdown of the main betting categories on the platform.
Basketball is the most-watched sport in the Philippines and phi99 covers it extensively. Bet on PBA conference games, Finals matchups, NBA regular season, and the NBA Playoffs – with pre-match odds and live betting available throughout the season.
International football at phi99 covers the biggest leagues and tournaments – UEFA Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and major international fixtures. With hundreds of matches weekly, football betting options run around the clock at phi99.
Boxing has a passionate following in the Philippines. phi99 covers major world title bouts and championship cards across all weight divisions, with moneyline and method-of-victory markets available for the biggest fights on the international boxing calendar.
Esports is one of the fastest-growing betting categories in the Philippines. phi99 covers Mobile Legends: Bang Bang MPL PH, Valorant competitions, DOTA 2, and League of Legends international tournaments – markets Filipinos engage with every week.
Volleyball enjoys strong fan support in the Philippines – particularly women's college volleyball leagues and Philippine national team matches. phi99 offers betting markets on local and international volleyball competitions throughout the season.
Beyond the headline sports, phi99's sportsbook includes tennis Grand Slams, MMA events, golf majors, and more. The full list of available sports and upcoming fixtures is visible after logging in to your phi99 account.
phi99's sportsbook covers a wide range of bet types, from simple moneylines to more detailed markets within a single match. Whether you prefer straightforward bets or want to dig into specific game outcomes, there's a betting format that suits your style.
The most straightforward bet – pick which team or player wins the match. Available across all major sports on phi99 including basketball, football, boxing, and tennis.
Handicap betting levels the playing field between a favourite and an underdog by adding or subtracting points. Popular for basketball betting where teams regularly have mismatched win records.
Bet on whether the combined score of a match will go over or under a set total. Works well for basketball and football where scoring volumes are consistent enough to analyse.
Link multiple individual bets into a single parlay for a higher potential return. All selections in a parlay must win for the bet to pay out – higher risk, higher reward format for experienced bettors.
Bet on matches that are already underway at phi99. Odds update in real time as the game progresses – react to what you're watching and place bets based on live momentum shifts.

Sports betting has always had a strong culture in the Philippines. From standing outside a shop watching a PBA game with friends to following international football leagues late at night, Filipinos have an authentic relationship with sport and with wagering on it. phi99's sportsbook is built around that reality rather than a generic template designed for a different market.
The most practical difference for Philippine bettors is the payment setup. Everything at phi99 operates in PHP. When you fund your account via a local bank transfer or through GCash or Maya, your balance shows in pesos. When you win, it pays out in pesos. You never need to do mental arithmetic about exchange rates or worry about conversion fees eroding your returns before they reach your local bank account.
Live in-play betting is one of phi99's most-used features among sports fans. Watching a PBA game and placing a live bet during a timeout, or following a football match and reacting to a red card with a revised bet – this type of real-time engagement is what separates modern online sportsbooks from traditional options. phi99's live betting interface works on mobile, so you can follow the action and place bets from your phone whether you're at home in Quezon City or watching a game from somewhere in Cebu or Davao.
Esports coverage at phi99 deserves a specific mention because it's a category that resonates deeply with younger Filipino bettors. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is genuinely popular in the Philippines – the MPL PH is followed with the same enthusiasm as traditional sports leagues. Having proper sportsbook coverage for esports alongside conventional sports gives phi99 a broader appeal that reflects how Filipino audiences actually engage with competitive gaming today.
From a practical standpoint, one of the most useful habits any sports bettor can build is keeping records. Knowing which sports you've bet on, how much you've staked, and what your results have been over time gives you an honest picture of your betting activity. phi99's account section includes bet history so you can review your past wagers at any point. Use it regularly – it's one of the most effective tools for keeping your betting within a comfortable budget.
